Is a Bath Lift a Good Choice?

What is a Bath Lift ?

A Bath Lift is a motorized seat that can be placed securely in the bath when needed. When raised to its highest position, the seat should be level with the top of your bathtub. You can sit on the Bath Lift and move your feet and legs over into the bath. Then, lower the seat down into the bathtub and regain the pleasure of a relaxing bath.

When you are finished, raise the Bath Lift back to the starting position and you can easily exit the bath. When not in use, your Bath Lift can be removed from the bathtub, leaving it free for other users.

                                       Benefits of a Bath Lift

Handicare Sterling Bath Bliss Bath Lift at the Access Lifts and Ramps in Rochester, New York.A Bath Lift gives you the muscle relaxing benefits that a soak in the bathtub has to offer.

Bath Lifts are often a preferred option over a walk-in bathtub. Walk-in bathtubs need to be empty of water before you can open the door to get in or out. This can cause discomfort as the user may get cold during either waiting period. The installation of these units may also be quite disruptive and could leave your bathroom in need of redecoration.

With a Bath Lift, the bathtub can be completely filled with water when the user gets in or out. Bath Lifts also do not require installation - they can easily be taken in and out of the bathtub.
