Position: Outside Sales Consultant for the Greater CNY Area

We are looking for a few select people to grow with us.

We currently are looking for a Sales Person to take some of the large volume of calls and sales that we have in the greater Rochester area and work with us as we develop the greater CNY area.  

We would prefer the candidate live in the greater CNY area, because CNY will be the candidate’s main sales territory after the training period.

We are looking for candidates with outside sales experience to sell our full product line including, but not limited to, Stairway Chair Lifts, Platform Lifts, Modular Ramp Systems, Home Elevators and Dumbwaiters. Enthusiasm and a drive to succeed is a must. Ideal candidates will have excellent relationship building skills and the ability to meetsales goals and objectives. The ability and willingness to evaluate potential installation sites and the people who will be using the equipment is necessary along with the ability to work with builders/contractors, architects, home owners, doctors, discharge planners, therapists, others in the medical field, older adults, and people with disabilities. Experience in the construction industry and /or medical field is a plus. Strong computer skills with experience in Word and ACT! also a plus. Will be required to create drawings, complete contracts from templates, keep and update client records and track sales using ACT! Client Relation Management Software.  Must have reliable transportation. Will be required to travel and make sales throughout Western & Central NYS.

Minimum Requirements we will be looking for:

  • Have basic electrical and mechanical skills
  • Clean NYS drivers license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Ability to work with contractors, elderly, and people with disabilities

    Also due to the large volume of calls and sales from our main location you will be required to follow up on leads and make sales calls anywhere within the Western and Central NY area.
